Interpretation of System Error log entries, please

Redoak

I am running XP Pro on a Compaq laptop with an external "burner." Recently I
had 'crashes' from which Ws recovered. I was given the following references
in the System Log:

Event- 1003; Category- [102]; Source- System Error // Event- 7009; Source-
Service Control Manager // Event- 10005; Source- DCOM // Event - 10010;
Source- DCOM // Event- 11; Source- cdrom // Event- 7; Source- cdrom.

I would appreciate an interpretation of these references or directions to a
MS site for same. Thanks.
