When I open my browser it shows about:blank then goes into syssecuritysite.com
Site claims that my system is infected and that I need to download their
software. I have tried changing my homepage in settings but wont work. Is
there any programs on microsoft or anything that I can do to remove what is
causing this problem.

There is no problem. These guys just want you to install their software.

I too can put up a web page saying your machine is infected with all sorts of crap. That doesn't mean it's true.

Do the preparatory work listed here:

Then do the specific work listed here:
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Smitfraud_Trojan

Finish up with the more general scanning steps from the first link and
do all the cleanup work afterwards.

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

Similar problem bothered me for long.Use McAfee anti virus ver 8, 9 or
10. Its anti spyware will take care of it. Then they bother you no
