Situation is the following.

I have pc1 on a network in a small travel agency. There are 5 pcs in
total. All systems have genuine windows xp systems installed. Pc1 is
the troublemaker.

When browsing the internet, not local network between the pcs, internet
surfing works for about 5 minutes, than halts for about 5-10 minutes.
During this time that internet explorer cannot visit webpages, it still
has connection with other 4 pcs which means it is on the network.
During that time all the other 4 pcs have constant connection with
internet.

What could be causing this problem?

I believe that with the fact that the pc1 during the internet explorer
downtime can still access the other pcs on the network and also ping
the server and the other pcs eliminates the possibility of faulty
cabling or network adapters.

Any help or directions is appreciated.
