I am using windows xp home and professional editions, I have a problem that is really anoying me I need to know what it is. The computer is working fine but sometimes randomly when I try to search for a webpage, i seems like a don't have internet connection, it never finds the page, but if I ping www.google.com for example I get responses all fine. On the other hand I have a computer running Linux and I have absolutely no problems at all with Linux accessing the internet, but all the computers having windows they have that problem. I even formated all the computers with windows to see if that makes a difference but the problem is still there, I have norton 2004 on all computers with all the updates and I have all the windows updates installed. Can someone help me please
Thanks in advance.

Carlos,

This sounds like the same problem I had. Couldn't connect to some webpages
and couldn't open links on others. I have not had the problem since changing
the MTU setting. There is an article about it on dslreports.com. Hope this
helps. http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp
