Internet Sharing Configuration

I get this pop up box a few times a day. At first I
thought I might be infected with spyware but I run my
spyware program every week and there isn't any. Here's
the pop up I get:

Internet Sharing Configuration ? X

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE is
attempting to change or view this computer's Internet
Connection Protection Settings. To give C:\Program
Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE permission to edit
these settings for as long as the program is open, click
YES.

Yes No More Info

If I click on more info, nothing happens. If I click on
the question mark all that happens is there is a ? next
to the pointer of my mouse. I've tried clicking to place
a check mark in a box next to the words "Do not show this
dialog again" under the Yes, No, More info, then clicked
on No, but it keeps showing up anyway a few times a day.

Your help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

What firewall are you running?

I use VCOM's System Suite 5, it has an antivirus and
firewall. I've been using it for close to a year and it's
worked well for me. This problem started happening a few
weeks ago. I also have Webroot's Spy Sweeper installed on
my computer.

I think you need to determine what program is sending the message. I
don't want to suggest running without a firewall, but you could try:

Disabling the VCOM firewall and enabling XP's firewall and disabling
SpySweeper, all temporarily of course. If the message disappears, then
you know the message is coming from either VCOM or SpySweeper. Add one
of those programs and see what happens. If you still don't get the
message, enable the other program. If you get the message, then you
know you need to examine the program's settings or contact the
program's tech support.
