I recently bought a laptop, i mainly just use it around
the house, but i'm going on vacation soon and would like
to have internet service when i'm gone. Can anyone give
me some insight on some cheap service, if thats possible?
I'm pretty new to this wireless thing so i was wondering
who offers this service and at a good price, thanks......

It would assist those who are prepared to offer advice, if you would state where you live and also where you plan to vacation

Not all ISPs provide global coverage

ALso is one to presume that you have a modem in the laptop and want a dial up service?

You could use your cell phone if you have GPRS service (T-Mobile for
example). Or you could use your cell phone as a modem and dial aan ISP. Or
you could look for free "hotspots" for your wireless (McDonalds, Starbucks,
Borders for example) Or you could pay for a "hotspot" connection (T-Mobile,
CNET, Etc)

Lots of options that you could research. We have no idea where you are
going or what equipment/accounts you have.

YES BAR, i have a freakin modem!!!! My question was how
do i obtain service, through my isp, or a cell phone
service?????? It doesn't really make a difference where i
am!
