internet script error

my wife and i share a computer, i'm able to log into ie and live messenger,
but when we switch users, she will try to open ie and receives internet
script error, but when she clicks on yes or no, or tries to x out she is
unable to, then we have to use task manager to exit, has anyone experienced
this problem before
