Internet Printing Problems

Hello,
I'm using XP-Home, HP DeskJet 855C and recently have noticed that if I need
to print something from a internet site, my printer will not print unless I
unplug the cable and reconnect. The on-off and reset buttons 'freeze'. I
am able to cancel the job from the control panel but that's all.
Resubmitting does not start printing even after canceling the job.

The error that I receive is that the printer is out of paper. It isn't. I
can print from Word, Notepad, Excel prior to attempting a url print, but
after that first attempt at url printing, I have to disconnect the printer.

No errors in the event log, except the warning when I purge the print job.

Thanks for any help.

See if there is an updated driver for your printer. Put HP DeskJet 855C
into Google and find the driver. Install it and see that improves your
situation.
