Internet Printing IPP Problem

Hello all,

I have been trying to get IPP going on a Windows 2000
Server for awhile now. I can see all the printers when i
go to http://servername/printers and they all list fine,
but when I click on the printer listed to open the
information on it it just takes me back to the same page.
Doesn't matter what printer i click on it will take me
back to the http://servername/printers default page, never
opens the printer. I havne't been able to find any
information on an issue like this, any help would be
greatly appriciated.

Thanks for the response.

Both of those files exist on the server under
C:\WINNT\Web\Printers. I am still having the same problem,
main page comes up fine and as soon as I click on a
printer it tries to go to the page for a spilt second and
then reverts back to the original main page listing all
the printers once again. Any other suggestions, any thing
installed wrong or misconfigured? Thanks in advance again.

Does this account have permission to access the spooler and printer
properties. This security setting should be configure twice in printer itself
and IIS.

For IPP to work, the following must be up and running:

* IIS must be installed and activated on your print server
* Finally you must have the Java component installed on your machine.
Go to www.sun.com and install java

Thanks for the quick response,

We do have IIS install and I had java installed and just
installed with the latest. This isnt the first server I
have seen this happen too. Thanks for all the help guys,
lemme know if you have any more suggestions. I'll keep
plugin aawy at it.
