Internet Option Settings

I have Windows XP and SP2 is installed. I CANNOT maintain an internet
connection because under Internet Options the proxy server box is checked
under the connections tab for both my dialup connection and LAN connection.
No matter how many times I uncheck it, after rebooting it stays unchecked for
approx 5 minutes and then rechecks itself???? Does anyone know what I can do
to solve this problem???
 
Hi PRB,
There are many possibilities but we need more info. It could be an
autoconfig.ins that you have setup in IE or Group Policies in your domain.
Several things can adjust this on the fly, but what kind of OS and
environment are you in?
