Hi, I have two desktop computers connected to the internet and each other through an ethernet router, using DHCP assigned IP addresses
I am trying to connect a laptop using IEEE 1394 to one of the desktops, all connections on the desktop I am connecting into are bridged, and I can access the internet on the laptop through the connected desktop, however the laptop cant see the desktops and vice versa for the purpose of transfering files
I have installed all available protocols on the connections
ICS is disabled as well as ICF on all computers

HELP!!

The first question I always ask is if you can ping. if not, compare ipconfig
/all or post it here. or you can go to http://www.ChicagoTech.net
do-it-yourself tools to do the troubleshooting.
