When I click on a link in a website the page only opens up half size... how
do I get it to open up to full size automatically without having to click on
the box in the right hand corner?

That depends on your browser. If Internet Explorer:
Drag the window borders with the mouse to the max and do not use the
maximize button.

This suddenly started happening to me two weeks ago
when I'd link to a page in IE6. No viruses or spyware
were present on my system.

The solution (as pointed out in this NG) was to drag the
IE window by its corners to its maximum size and then
let go. From then on, IE has been opening windows fine.
Give it a try.

You need to set the size that you want, then click the file / exit (not the
X) and all will be well again

It is internet explorer that is the main problem but occasionally it happens
in the Yahoo browser too. I have tried your suggestion but the new windows
will pop up small.

I have tried this too but when I open a new window it is still small.. any
other suggestions please... this is so annoying!

Thanks so much!! The google link solved the problem with the Internet
Explorer pages but not the Yahoo so I downloaded the autosizer and now my
Yahoo pages open full size. Perfect... thanks again!
