Internet link on desktop

I copied a link from the internet with a video to my desktop, now I cannot
get the video to stop playing everytime I go to my desktop and I cannot
delete the link. I did a search for the name of the video and deleted it from
the C: drive and the video is still playing. I have restarted the whole PC
and it will not go away. Come on, stop laughing so hard! I need help.

Rightclick the desk, then Properties, Desktop tab, Customize button, Web
tab, uncheck box for page with video. If it reappears, it's spyuware. Try
