Hi. Could anyone help me? For some reason, every time I turn my computer on or restart it, Internet Explorer starts itself up automatically. It is not in the startup file and there is no mention of this in the internet options!

I know this is probably really simple, but it is really starting to **** me off!

Not to sure of this, but when IE starts what page does it display (if any?), and is that your default home page?

Yes. When IE loads up, it has the homepage, which is ntlworld.co.uk.

I can't figure this out!

run msconfig and see if its in your startup list

Thanks - That seems to have done the trick, although it is a mystery why the setting suddenly changed!

Streamlining XP

I don't suppose there is anything I can do to settings to make xp run more efficiently? Also, do you know of any good free anti-popup software, cause I had TrueBlock and it ****ed up my internet explorer and would open any pages!
