Please help ,my internet explorer keeps shutting down it tell me two things MLANG.DLL,,,,, AND APPCOMPAT.TXT,,,,NOW I GOT NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE ,I DONE A COMPLETE SWEEP WITH ALL MY PROTECTION PROGRAMMES,(sorry forgot caps was on ) in safe mood as well it taken ages "phew" i only managed to get here by restore to start of november , i have not touched anything ,help this poor silver surfer many thanks poundy

I've had a search and come up with these suggestions:

run "sfc /scannow" to check your windows files for courruption.

If that doesn't fix the problem, try follow the 2nd stage of the advice on this page:

"sfc /scannow" i typed that without quotes it said "windows cannot find sfc/scannow "
