Internet Explorer

For some strange reason I cannot open up more than one window at a time. If
I open up IE and then click Control N or go to file and click new window it
opens up a new window but closes down the previous one. That has never
happened before. Does anyone have any idea why that is happening?

IE: Tools | Internet Explorer | Advanced. Uncheck: Reuse windows for
launching shortcuts.
