Internet Explorer won't start

When I try to launch IE 6 it won't do anything but act
like it's trying to load. It will not display my home
page URL or go to any website. It just freezes.

I get the same problem. Mine starts to load the home page
then it just closes. I suspect a virus of some type but I
did scans for the latest ones and it says there are none
