Internet Explorer wont open

Every time I try to to the internet it shows connected
but when I click on the internet explorer this wont open.
What could be the problem?
 
download Ad-aware 6.0 freeware. tip from TechTV.com Teh
Screen Savers Patricks freeware picks. Worked for me.
