Can Not Find Server message. Help.

I am using a LAN connection and the connection is ok everytime i check. But
after a few minutes, my internet explorer wont open any websites. It keeps
saying Can Not Find Server. Or if I play Windows Media Player/ MSN messenger
and browse at the same time, the internet explorer will give me the same
problem. Please help. My internet company could not help me and said the
problem is my pc.

1. Make sure the computer is completely virus/malware-free:

2. Go to the network adapter's properties in Device Manager. Click on the
Power Management tab and uncheck the box that says "allow Windows to turn
off this device when not in use".

3. If the machine is clean and the power management setting doesn't work,
troubleshoot the hardware. Start with the cable, then the network adapter,
then the router or cable/dsl modem.
