Internet Explorer Wont Launch

Hi, When I click on my explorer icon it starts to think
about loading, with the little hourglass, and then it
stops. I check to see if it is already running in task
manager but it's not. I did a virus scan and no virus.
It was working fine yesturday.

Additional Notes: 3-4 users using pc. running windows
2000 pro.

Your help will be appreciated

I forgot to add the errors I get when trying to open a
any .html or image file.

When I try to open an html document or any image file
located on my pc I get the folllowing error:
Cannot find the file 'C:\path to .htm or .jpg files'.(or
one of it's components). Make sure the path and filename
are correct and that all required libraries are available.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
