internet explorer toolbar cannot be customized

IN MY WINDOWS XP SYSTEM 1 OUT OF 4 USERS IE6 BROWSER
DOESN'T DISPLAY THE CUSTOMIZE TOOLBAR OPTION WHEN I RIGHT
CLICK ON THE TOOLBAR. ALL CHOICES IN THE MENU ARE GRAYED
OUT EXCEPT FOR "TEXT LABELS". I JUST SUCEEDED IN RIDDING
MY SELF OF THE DAMN ISEARCH TOOLBAR. NOW I'D LIKE TO GET
MY INTERNET EXPLORER BACK TO NORMAL.
IT'S ODD,I WOULD IMAGINE, THAT ONLY ONE USER'S BROWSER
MANIFESTS THIS DEFECT, BUT SUCH IS LIFE.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP I GET FROM Y'ALL.

http://discussions.virtualdr.com/showthread.php?threadid=159169 mentions the
same problem and its solution. From the posts it seems like this solution
works.
They also have a link to

located. Try this.
