Internet Explorer scripting errors

I am experiencing scripting errors both in Internet
Explorer, and Peachtree accounting, which apparently uses
part of internet explorer for objects in GUI
applications. I have not been able to find any fixes on
Microsoft's Website, nor have I yet found a solution
through Peachtree's Support line. The three scripting
errors which occur when I open Peachtree are:
Line 119
Char 5
Error Variable is undefined "BinVal"
Code 0
URL: file://C:\Program
Files\Peachtree\PTToday\welcome\default.htm
do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Line 99
Char 3
Error Variable is undefined "Set Current Link"
Code 0
URL file://C:\Program
Files\Peachtree\PTToday\welcome\default.htm
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Line 172
Char 5
Error Type mismatch "BinVal"
Code 0
URL file://C:\Peachtree\PTToday\main menu.htm
Do you want to continue runnig scripts on this page?

I have previously tried a suggestion from Peachtree, in
which I uninstalled Internet Explorer, which lead to
disastrous results. My computer crashed, and required
about an hour to straighten out and restart. Any
suggestions to help debug these scripting errors would be
appreciated.

Sincerely,
Michael B. Brand
