Internet Explorer Quits after about 20 sec without any error messa

Hi!

My internet explorer automatically quits after about 20 seconds upon opening
the program. It does not display any error message, it just quits. What could
be the reason for this? I am using Windows XP Pro (SP2) and already tried
re-intsalling ie6explorer.exe which I downloaded from Microsoft.com.

First eliminate any spyware.
