Internet explorer problem...

Everytime I type a address into IE and hit enter I get a few second
pause before it executes, this didn't happen until I upgraded to SP1.
Is there any fixes for this or anything I can do?

This is a farely new install of Windows, within a week.
 
is that sp1 or sp1a, and do you have the other update for
windows and IE
