INTERNET EXPLORER NOT WORKING SINCE..........

I currently am using a wireless router that has been
configured and was working just great for weeks.
Recently, my notebook had some problems and I had
to "restore" to a previous setting, which was only a day
old.

Since then, I have not been able to get IE to work. I
can get on my work VPN, and in DOS I can ping sites just
fine.....just can't browse the web.

Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated.
