Internet Explorer Icon

I'm having trouble displaying the IE icon on my WinXp
desktop. There used to be an option in the Advanced tab
of IE Internet Options, but I can't find it there now.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem without having
to manually create an icon?? Any help is greatly
appreciated.
 
No, it is different in XP.

Desktop icon in Win9x:
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Advanced
Check "Show Internet Explorer on the desktop"

For XP:
Control Panel-Display Properties-Desktop tab.
Customize Desktop
