internet explorer homepage

for some unknown reason whenever i click on the IE icon it goes to a website
"safetyuptodate.com" and i CANNOT change it back to the original
setting for internet explorer and it is a website telling me to sign up for
spyware removal i run spybot s&d and no spyware and i run mcaffee antivirus
and no viruses this is reall irratating me PLEASE HELP ME

Go to the page in Internet Explorer that you want to be your home page. In
the address bar of Internet Explorer left-click on the address page icon and
drag that to the Internet Explorer button bar icon that looks like a house
(called Home); let go of the left mouse button to drop the address bar icon

ty for the help but i am still getting a yellow triangle still in my
taskbar that keeps telling me that i have been infected with spyware and
adware and to click on it to help resolver the problem and that is when i get
directed to "safetyuptodate.com" and i still run 3 different spyware programs
and nothing but when i goto my regestry i have like a whloe bunch of entries
from a coolwwwsearch site that i delete but thewy still show up and i cannot
get rid of them

I had the same problem and managed to somehow get rid of them by starting my
pc in safe mode and then searching for files/folders containing
malware,spyfalcon,pesttrap and virus blast and deleting these. The triangle
and a red pop up box on my taskbar disappeared thank goodness. Hope this is
of help
