Internet Explorer Homepage problem

Internet explorer does not load the homepage I have set it to. Instead when I
double click the internet explorer icon, it loads a microsoft website.

If you have a secuirty software that are running in Real Protection mode, it
can block you from changing the Home page?
So try to disble it and do your changes then renable it.

Try in safe Mode and if you have a security software that can block you from
changing the Home page go to the configuration Options and change that to
allow you to change the Home page.

Try the Home Page Lock and Unlock from here- line 63 1st column:

One sees that you've added "© 2008 Microsoft Corporation" to the (outdated &
buggy version of) AURESET tool on your Downloads page. Aren't you the
author of that tool? Are you the author of any tools on that page?

remember, that I was going to have to take that off my website. You are so
