Internet Explorer Home Page Setting using Group Policy

Hi Friends,
I have set up a user level group policy to set up the Home page of all he users on internet explorer to our Companies intranet Portal.
Now on some Systems the Policy works perfectly whereas on some systems, the Policy works for once and then the home page is reset to www.msn.com or home.microsoft.com
All the System configurations are almost the same (With Respect to Hardware) and exactly same (With respect to Software installations) all System have Win 2000 Professional with SP4 installed and internet explorer 5.5 and office 2003 installed.
also the Group policy is implemented on a security group in the active directory and all the users are members of the same Security Group with same rights.
Please Help.

Can you tell us where you have set the GPO for the home page?

Also, what troubleshooting steps have you taken? Is there anything in
common with the systems where the policy is not taking?
