Internet Explorer has encountered a problem...

and needs to close is the message i keep getting when i
click on the icon. It been like this for a while,
anybody have any ideas what the problem is and how to fix
it? Dell and microsoft are no help of course...please let
me know!!

The IE Error Report generates a "appcompat.txt" file.
This can usually be found in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp\

Paste the contents (if found) in your next message.
