I'm getting the same message as Nancy
'Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and must close
whenever I try to open IE on my account, the weird thing is that Explorer opens on the other user accounts on this same computer. Anybody know where to begin to fix this

The IE Error Report generates a "appcompat.txt" file.
This can usually be found in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp\

Paste the contents (if found) in your next message.
