Can anyone help.
My Internet Explorer does not start when you click on it.
The clock icon comes on for a second indicating that it
is loading then it stops and I get the message to send a
problem report to Microsoft.
I looked through MS site and found something which
refered to this did the change in the registry as
sugested and got to the point of seeing the clock for the
1 second which I was not getting before.
I am using a different browser for a while now and just
got around to trying to fix this today.
Do not realy know when this problem occured and what was
the cause.
Any Help?

Steve,
This is probably a parasite problem.
From Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced uncheck "Enable third party
browser extensions." That should allow IE to open.

Run CWShredder from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html It's been
the most helpful with this problem. CWShredder is only about 125 KB so it
could be downloaded from another machine onto a floppy disk.

You should follow CWShredder with Ad-aware and/or Spybot S&D. Both programs
should be updated after installation- before each use.
See: Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Also note security tips at that site.

You should re-enable browser extensions after the cleanup.
