Internet Explorer closes everytime I open a window

Everytime I go online, when a window opens I get an error message telling me
that there was a problem and Explorer has to close. I've tried everything
expept reloading IE. This is the front page of the error message;
AppName:iexplore.exe, AppVer:6.0.2900.2180, ModName:Unknown, ModVer:0.0.0.0,
OffSet:0018acdd.
Does anybody have any ideas?

This may be caused by spyware/malware that's gotten installed on
your system. Use Ad-Aware, MSAS and/or Spybot Search & Destroy to remove
it.

If no joy, in IE go to Tools...Internet Options...Advanced tab, Browsing
section, uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions", click Apply, click
Okay, reboot. If that solves your problem, then more troubleshooting is
needed to find out exactly which program, or Browser Helper Object (BHO) is
causing this problem. You don't want to leave it at that, as some BHOs are
useful or necessary - like Adobe Acrobat for reading .pdf files or an
essential component of Norton AV. Get BHODemon -

Disable all items, and then gradually replace one or two at a time to narrow
down the culprit.

If all the above fails, then the problem could be something new that the

This is possibly being caused by third party programs that have infected
your system, such as malware, parasites and/or other scumware.

From Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third
party browser extensions."
If this allows IE to work, then you have scumware on your system. First
clean you machine, then Disable the "third party browser extensions." after
the cleanup.

Be aware, your Anti-Virus won't detect all types of warez, Trojans, malware,
worms, etc and neither can other adware, spyware or malware removal programs
such as AdAware and SpyBot, Spy Sweeper, etc., as they don't have all the
necessary definitions. So even if you run one or even two of them and
nothing shows up, it does not mean your system is clean. It takes a series
of programs to fully clean your machine. Some very aggressive and damaging
variants of malware can replicate themselves repeatedly, or mutate, if not
removed properly. Follow the steps here carefully:
