Hi all,
From the title you can see my problem. I'm running Home Premium, with all
updates. I have cleared cache's, reset IE7 settings, run sfc /scannow which
found no errors, and all of my IE7 settings are default.
I have turned Protected Mode OFF, set Cookies to ALLOW ALL, and turned
Security settings to minimum, all to no avail! I am, to put it mildly,
frustrated...
However, there is a weird thing that happens, i can go into the Program
Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe and right click it, Run as Admin, and
..png pictures are able to display?
This is why i lowered all of the security settings in Internet Options, as
Run as Admin does not use Protected Mode etc. But i cannot get it to work
with me, the only User on my Laptop, set as Admin.
I don't know how to repair IE7 in Vista, as what i have read the only
options are sfc /scannow and a clean install. I have the Vista Disc, but
don't want the hassle of reinstalling EVERYTHING!
Please, any suggestions very welcome,
Thanks.
