JAVA

Java will not work unless I run IE7 as admin, or if I turn off UAC, or if I
create a new account in Vista. If I start the Java Control Panel it will not
let me change “Default JAVA for Browsers†if I run IE7 not as an admin. If I
run as admin the Microsoft Internet explorer is already checked in “Default
JAVA for Browser sâ€. I would like my IE7 to work as it once did, and as it
does on a new user account. These workarounds are a pain. Does anyone know
how to fix this, or where I can go to find out how?

Visit: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and download
the "offline" version". Then right-click on the file you downloaded
and select "Run as administrator".
