MS announced today that Internet Explorer 7.0 is a work in
progress. Instead of the Longhorn delivery, IE7 will Beta in the
summertime and be a post SP2 release.

Since it will undoubtedly be used by many millions of Windows
users, it will be far from irrelevant.

It's your prerogative not to use it if you don't want to, but
your choice doesn't make it irrelevant.
