IE7B2P hides Cookies folder

After installing Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 2 Preview my Cookies folder has
become hidden. I can only get it to display in My Computer or Winodws
Explorer by unhiding all protected system folders and files. Is this the
intention of IE7's programmers?

No, I snuck over in the middle of the night, and changed your Cookie
folder to be hidden, just to f*&k with your mind.

Well, it is a *beta* product.... Anyway, I've been unable to duplicate
it. My Cookies folder isn't hidden, using WinXPx64 and the 64-bit
version of IE7 Beta 2.

I have, with the 32bit version.

Contact the Author of the BETA program you are testing for the fix.

I have, but nobody has replied. This must be an intentionally-built-in
feature of IE7 which makes the Cookies folder hidden.

We're talking about the 32-bit version, Bruce, and you already know that at
least one other member has the same problem. Pretty quotations hardly solve
computer problems. Anyway, congratulations on your 64-bit system. Hope you
enjoy it.

Doesn't mention anything about sarcasm. And I avoided using what MS
considers profanity.

You're testing Beta software and you don't know this info? If you are
that dense, then you should uninstall the Beta software immediately.

Are we? How could I possibly know that? No one specified the 32-bit
version, not that it's irrelevant; I have it installed as well. FYI,
the 64-bit version of IE7 comes with the 32-bit version as extra
baggage, because Microsoft hasn't gotten around to providing a 64-bit
compatible version of Windows Update.

I do? I don't even know what, in this context, a "member" is. This
is a newsgroup; no membership required. I've certainly never seen any
other posts reporting this "problem." (Which isn't to say there hasn't
been one; out of thousands of posts a day, it's not possible to see
every one.)

Don't understand the need for your digression. But, once again, with
IE7 32-bit installed, the Cookies folder is *not* hidden by default.
There may be something peculiar to *your* system's configuration that
makes it so, for you.
