internet explorer 6

my internet explorer icon disappeared from the desktop &
the quicklaunch bar
 
Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab, under browsing.
Click Show Internet Explorer on Desktop.

If you also want a link on your quick launch bar, look for iexplore.exe
and create a shortcut in the bar.
