Internet Explorer 6.0 Keeps hanging, pausing, slows down, error messages -help

Internet Explorer 6.0 Keeps hanging and stalling on me. When I open a
web page, it just freezes, the green loading bar at the bottom is full
green but I can't scroll down or do anything. Then suddenly the page
loads up and it scrolls (doing what I commanded at a delay) Instead of
a mouse pointer I get a hand during the delay. Ocasionally, I get an
error message "Internet explorer cannot open the internet site
http*********.com Operation aborted" but the site still loads up
fine! I tried many types of virus scans, I found 2 and removed them.
The I did ad-aware & spybot over and over. Then I reinstalled IE 6.0.
None of this worked out as of yet. I use Windows XP and do not want to
do a restore to an earlier point. Then I ran the "Hijackthis" program
and came up with this log:

Check your system for "hijackware":

Dealing with Hijackware
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/Darnit.htm#tshoot
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm

CoolWebSearch Chronicles & CWShredder
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html

Run in this order:

1. CWShredder (fix all)

2. Ad-Aware (fix all)

3. Spybot (generally, fix all in red)

Important: You *must* seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each
and every use, even "right out of the box". But even they can't catch
everything, 24/7. When all else fails, HijackThis
(http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or
http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30 for expert analysis, not here.**

[Alternate download pages for many of the above tools may be found at
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm.]

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?

I tried everything and I think I fixed it by updating ad-aware, which
then found more spyware. Bazooka spyware remover found even more which
told me to zap them from my registry, but it seems that the updated
ad-aware did it.
