IE Hangs when I shutdown

I'm having a problem lately with IE hanging when I shutdown my pc. Even
after I close out all IE windows, when I shutdown I get a response saying
that iexplore.exe is not responding and I have to click "end Now". Sometimes
I will get this multiple times before the computer finally shuts down. I've
tried running several spyware scanners including Spy Sweeper, Ad Aware, and
Spybot. I also ran BHO Cop and disabled several BHO's, however the problem
continues. On here I read about HijackThis, so I have run it and here is the
log file. I am hoping that someone here can suggest something for me to do
to solve this problem. Thanks!

I think I have found the problem. For over a year I've been using a product
called PowerIE to block banner ad's and pop up's, and have not had any
problems with it. On a hunch, I uninstalled it and the problem with IE
hanging is gone. I then reinstalled it and the problem came back. I played
with the settings such as turning off the ad and pop up blockers, however the
problem continued. I again uninstalled it and its working fine again, IE is
not hanging like it was before. I have sent e-mail to their support, however
I'd be grateful if someone knows how to fix this or can point me in the right

Contact the programme's owners. Most likely the software needs to be updated
to suit the latest version of IE/latest security fixes.

That, or an uninstall/reinstall is not removing a corrupt file. It wouldn't
be the first time that has happened.

hanging is gone. I then reinstalled it and the problem came back. I

that iexplore.exe is not responding and I have to click "end Now".

I will get this multiple times before the computer finally shuts down.

tried running several spyware scanners including Spy Sweeper, Ad Aware,

Spybot. I also ran BHO Cop and disabled several BHO's, however the

That, or an uninstall/reinstall is not removing a corrupt file. It wouldn't
be the first time that has happened.
