Go to Start>control panel
Open Add/Remove Programs
Scroll to the bottom and see if you have the Yahoo Toolbar installed
If you do, uninstall it
Internet Explorer should now open
I have been having the same problem, I guess since the last update..
My says it has to shutdown because of urlmom.dll.. I have registered it, and
looked and emailed on the MS site, but no help yet.. I saw another post
somewhere on here to disable/uncheck the third party browsers in the
"tools/advance tab under browsing) Which seems to have taking care of the
problem... But I would like to have it the way it was!! Hope that MS comes
up with a update/fix
Well, just wanted to say it works better with the thrid party browsers
unchecked.. It did do the same thing twice since and reported the same
message
Still no update/word from anyone :-( :-( :-(
Guess this is a limited problem?????????? Hope not or a fix may never show
up:-(
But hey there are other browsers.... Without support.... You go elsewhere
