internet explor closes as soon as it opens w/ no explanation

ok here is the thing about 3 seconds after i open up my
internet exploer browser it closes down with no
explanation. And when i use yahoo to do a search ( which
uses ie as default) nothin happens the browser wont even
open up. I have uninstalled and re-installed numerous
times to no avail.. nothing is working.. the only browser
that works consistantly is msn.. i have no clue as to
whats going on all i know is even the newest versions of
ie dont like me!!! . BTW my OS is win xp home edition and
right now i have the latest edition of ie and have
downloaded the security packs.. nothin helps.. any1
help..pleaase???? thankyou.
