IE Closes as soon as I open it

Please help!

When I attempt to open IE, it opens, and then within 2 seconds closes without reason - no error message, nothing. It just closes. I ran a virus scan, but it turned up nothing.

Anyone have any recommendations??

I ran a complete virus scan last night that turned up nothing. My software isn't perfectly up to date, but it's recent.

Any other ideas???
