INTERNET DOWNLOADS

When downloading from the internet I am timed out and
disconnected on lengthy (45 minutes plus) downloads.
What can I do? My server says its not them.
 
Are you using a modem or DSL?
What is your operating system.
Is there plenty of room in the Temporary Internet Files (folder)?
