Internet Dial Up Settings

The CONNECTIONS tab on my Intenet Properties does not let
me add a new connection. I keep getting error 711: A
configuration error on this computer is preventing this
connection.

When I go to SETUP - The 3rd Tab Internet Connection will
only allow the connection to BROADBAND being always
turned on. I need to have a dial up connection.

Has anyone seen this or can help me out.

Check Device Manager .... does your Modem show up?
Are *any* conflicts listed?

Internet Options | Connections [tab] | LAN Settings [button]
Any options selected there?
