internet crashes

i have been having a problem browsing the internet. it
lets me run internet explorer then it has a error report
find and it logs me off automatically. i am using an
older computer and it never did that until know and i
belive it is not as compatible with all the updates and i
need some help. i cant seem to find the problem.
