internet connection

when i log on to windows xp my dial-up connection
automatically starts to dial my internet connection
wether i want to dial up or not. i have tried using the
spy-bot remover with no success, it will also just start
dialing when no one is logged on HELP

This apears in 3 cases:
1. U have a virus in your computer (a backdoor or o trojan) and try to send
some data ...
2. A recent program u have installed and u don't register.
3. A program who has "automatic update" enabled.
Check in Internet Explorer --> Tools --> Internet Options -->Connections to
set "Never Dial a connection"

Also can happen if DNS client dynamic registration is
enabled, at time of periodic refresh.
