After I installed Win2000 sp4 my dialup connections disappeared. Before I know about
that I reinstalled IE6 from a CD, because of another problem. Now I'm trying to create
a new connection using the Internet Connection wizard and it keeps giving me this error
message after I name the connection ("connection to 919-0024" is the name I'm using, but
I've tried many others including simply "Earthlink"). The error message says:
"Connnection to 919-0024 is not a valid name. The entry must contain at least one
character that is not a space and cannot begin with a period. Chose a different name".

I've tried many differenyt names and keep getting this error message.

Can someone tell me what to do about this...is it a known problem with a solution?

Use at least one character ie. A...Z also do not use the minus sign ( - )
use the underscore ( _ )
