Internet connection sharing stopped working

I set up ICS last week. I have an XP box with two NICs and another box that
is the client. I used the ICS wizard and set up everything and it worked
flawlessly. Then it stopped working - I couldn't get to the internet from
the client machine anymore.

I noticed that local area connection #1 (to the internet) is not set to be
shared anymore. When i go into "Properties>Advanced" and click on "Allow
other users to connect through this computer's internet connection" I get
the following error:

"Internet Connection Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already
configured with the IP address that is required for automatic addressing".

From reading various we pages I think the conflict is over the 192.168.0.1
IP address but I'm not sure how to fix it.

Here is the output of ipconfig /all on my XP machine (the ICS host)

You have a second computer configured for Internet Connection
Sharing or you have a router.

Please describe what you have.

Yeah - I've been here a few times on this - I kind'a sorted it by setting
the offending 192.168.0.1 NIC to "Obtain Address Automatically" - then retry
the ICS setup. Seems as though the NIC card can get 'stuck' with the address
ICS needs.

Worth a try anyway ...
Cheers
