Internet connection details keep changing

When I attempt to connect to the internet my connection details - username,
password and telephone number of my internet provider- have changed. I change
them to the proper settings to connect to the internet but a minute later
when I check them again they have changed back to the wrong details.

I assume it is a virus of some sort (because I also have a webpage that
keeps popping up every couple of minutes) but I have done a full system scan
with Norton and I have "spyware" installed on my system as well. Nothing is
being detected.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of the problem? Any assistance would
be appreciated.

Change the IE Options, Security, Custom Level settings for ActiveX to accept
unsigned activeX, and other settings, then :
